COLIGAY F.C. is a miniseries based on the homonym book by Léo Gerchman. The narrative tells the story of a group of Grêmio’s supporters, who broke prejudices during the military dictatorship, in the late 1970s, forming the first organized gay crowd in Brazil. In the miniseries, the intention is to transpose to the screen what that crowd represented: joy, music, choreographies, extravagant clothes and a message of freedom that shocked the most conservative eyes of the time.

The series is directed by Paulo Machline (‘Uma História de Futebol’, ‘Meu Sangue Ferve Por Você’) and Rafael Gomes (’45 Days Without You’), with the screenplay by Patrícia Corso (‘Girls From Ipanema’, ‘Godless John’) and Fernando Américo (‘É o Amor: Família Camargo’).
