In this original VENTRE STUDIO production, 5 young surfers – and nature lovers – share dreams and challenges on a famous São Paulo northern coast beach. While everyone wants to do well on the complex transition to adulthood, including on the disputed professional surf arena, the big question which they face is: How to reach the so-called success and keep one’s ethic beliefs? With loads of sun, salt and paradise beaches, MARESIAS is a creation by Marcelo Montenegro (‘3%’, ‘Lili a Ex’) and Giuliano Cedroni (‘Girls From Ipanema’, ‘FDP’, ‘Outros Tempos’), and is the first Brazilian dramaturgy prodcution that dives in the backstage of professional surf, and counts with the support of WSL, the world’s professional surf league.
